Creamy Polenta

Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup polenta (coarse cornmeal)
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup parmesan, grated
Instructions
- Bring water and salt to a boil in a large saucepan.
- Slowly whisk in polenta in a steady stream to avoid lumps.
- Reduce heat to low and cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Remove from heat, stir in butter and parmesan.
- Serve immediately while warm and creamy.
Pro tip: For extra creaminess, substitute 1 cup of water with milk.
